Visual artist and design thinking coach, specializing in portraiture, sketchnotes and creativity practices. Academic turned artist. MA in media studies, reality-TV and mass culture at the University of Bergen. Art Director and interior designer at Bergen public library. 10 years professional experience in graphic design and illustration. Recently become prodcast host and always a left hander.
Aesthetically I’m on a journey of constant exploration and play. I will draw on any surface, although my current practice focus on digital tools. My work is a playful mix of 80s color schemes, heavily textured with a comic style naturalism. I’m very open to new influences and take on most themes with the curiosity and enthusiasm of a child and the determination of an old man.
Current projects:
«Skapelsesberetninger» podcast about creativity for Bergen public library
«Genji Hato og den magiske øya» illustrated fantasy book about a lone magician in selfimposed exile on the fantastical island of Tyrannis.
Memberships:
Grafill 2010-dd.
Bergen Akt og Croquis 2018-2021
Exhibitions:
«Fjes» portrait exhibition at Nobel Bopel 2019
«Digitale lengsler» digital illustrations on paper at the University of Bergen 2013
