Ylva Teigen Aas
https://www.instagram.com/ylvateigenaas/Ylva Teigen Aas (b. 1992, Oslo) is a photographer and lens-based artist. Her work is characterized by contemplation, subtlety, and self-reflexivity, primarily through analogue processes.
She is interested in portraiture, the gaze and the exploration of emotion through photography, often working with series of photographs either on the wall or in book form.
Ylva holds a BFA and MFA in Fine Arts, both from the University of Bergen (KMD). She has also completed the Art Photography program of Oslo Fotokunstskole, and previously studied Latin-American Literature in Buenos Aires (UBA) and Art History in Trondheim (NTNU).
