Alex Hamish Millar

Alex Hamish Millar (b.1990, Scotland) works with film, sculpture, photography and archival display, exploring how these forms can become carriers of science fiction that reimagine our relationship to nature and time. He has a Masters of Fine Art from The University of Bergen, KMD, and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Glasgow School of Art. Alex was a committee member of Market Gallery for two years - an artist-run exhibition space in Glasgow - before moving to Bergen in 2019. He has exhibited throughout Scotland and Bergen and participated in residencies in Athens with SNEHTA and Marseille with Triangle France.
